SoundSpinner MP3 can play music and sound files for hours and hours. However, a problem with Mac OS sleep mode on some Mac models/systems may cause your computer to lock up if the system's hard disk access is put to sleep when SoundSpinner MP3 are playing music via QuickTime.
Please perform the following steps to prepare your system for uninterrupted playback using SoundSpinner MP3:
1. Select Energy Saver from the Control Panels menu in the Apple menu.
Click the Sleep Setup button:
2. Drag the slider to Never:
3. Click the Show Details button at the bottom of the window.
4. Check the checkbox “Separate timing for display sleep” and drag the slider to the the numbers of minutes you prefer before shutting down the display:
The setup above lets you save energy by putting the display to sleep after about 35 minutes while still letting you play audio from files on your hard disk.
